1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter – "Terms") establish the procedure by which natural and legal persons (hereinafter – "User") may use the EEPT Global (hereinafter – "BNI Chapter" or "we") website available at eeptglobal.com (hereinafter – "Website").

The BNI Chapter is part of Business Network International (BNI) organization – the world's largest business referral network. By using the Website, the User confirms that they have read these Terms and agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

2. Definitions

Terms used in these Terms:

  • BNI – Business Network International, an international business networking organization;
  • Chapter – a local group of BNI members who meet regularly to exchange business referrals;
  • Member – a natural person registered as a BNI chapter participant;
  • Guest – a person attending a BNI event without member status;
  • Referral – passing a business opportunity to another BNI member;
  • Account – the User's personal profile on the Website.

3. Website Usage Rules

3.1. Permitted Use

The Website is intended for:

  • Obtaining information about the BNI chapter and its activities;
  • Submitting applications to attend BNI events;
  • Communication with BNI chapter representatives;
  • For BNI members – accessing personal account and managing activities.

3.2. Prohibited Activities

The User is prohibited from:

  • Using the Website for illegal purposes or promoting unlawful activities;
  • Distributing viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Website systems or other accounts;
  • Performing actions that may interfere with or disrupt Website operation;
  • Copying, modifying, or distributing Website content without written permission;
  • Using automated tools for data scraping without permission;
  • Publishing false, misleading, or offensive information;
  • Violating the intellectual property or privacy rights of other persons.

4. Account and Authentication

4.1. Account Creation

Certain Website features are only available to registered users (BNI members). Accounts are created by the BNI chapter administrator by specifying the member's email address.

4.2. Access Security

The User is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the confidentiality of their account access credentials;
  • All activities performed using their account;
  • Promptly reporting any unauthorized access to the account.

We use a secure login system (magic link) that does not require password memorization. The login link is sent to the registered email address and is valid for a limited time.

4.3. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or delete the User's account if:

  • The User violates these Terms;
  • The member's participation in the BNI chapter has ended;
  • The account has not been used for more than 12 months;
  • There is suspicion of unauthorized access or fraudulent activities.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Ownership

All content published on the Website, including but not limited to:

  • Texts, graphics, logos, and design;
  • Photographs and video materials;
  • Software code and databases;
  • BNI trademarks and brands;

is the property of BNI, EEPT Global, or the respective rights holders and is protected by the intellectual property protection laws of the Republic of Latvia and international regulations.

5.2. Limited License

The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use of Website content. Any other use requires prior written consent.

5.3. User Content

By publishing content on the Website (e.g., profile information or comments), the User:

  • Retains ownership of their content;
  • Grants us a non-exclusive license to use this content for Website operation;
  • Confirms that the content does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Website Availability

We strive to ensure uninterrupted Website operation but do not guarantee that:

  • The Website will be available continuously or without errors;
  • The Website will be free of viruses or other harmful components;

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced on the Website or by email. By continuing to use the Website after publication of changes, the User agrees to the amended Terms.

9. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or Website use shall be resolved through negotiation or, if agreement cannot be reached, in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
